Industry?

about music? Does the idea of bringing the artistic sounds and
innovative visions of others to life excite you? Are you most
comfortable when your day is defined by creative,
non-repetitive work? If you thrive, flourish and grow in a
challenging environment with open-ended learning potential, a
career in the audio recording industry may be ideal for you.
Workers in the recording business are able to use their talents
and skills in the broadcast, live sound, studio, gaming and
online media fields.
By obtaining the proper education, hands-on experience and
school internship, you can be on your way to a successful,
exhilarating and satisfying job in the field of sound. How do
you know if the recording industry is the correct occupational
choice for you? If you answer “yes” to any of the following
inquiries, then you may thoroughly enjoy a job in the audio
industry.
- Are you creative? Do you enjoy developing new concepts
and watching them come to life? Are you inspired by the
creativity of others? Do you get ideas from your everyday
surroundings or a seemingly insignificant source that you
may encounter? Can you draw from your creative sources on a
regular basis?

The audio recording industry is rapidly evolving. There
will always be new hardware, software, skills and methods
to learn and master. You must be able to keep up with new
trends in the sound, media and gaming fields.
